General
  1. How to install your software on my phone?

    You have 3 ways to install our software on your phone.
      1) Download the software (.SIS) to a PC. Transfer it to your phone using a cable or Bluetooth. After transfer is done, select the file in Inbox to start install on your phone.
      2) Copy the software (.SIS) to your phone's memory card. Select the file in phone file manager and start install.
      3) Download the software (.SIS) to your phone, install starts automatically once download is completed.

  2. What is S60?

  3. Does your software support Windows Mobile, iPhone or Blackberry?

    No. Our software cannot run on Windows mobile, iPhone or Blackberry. For now we only provide software for S60 phones with Symbian OS. Most S60 phones are manufactured by Nokia and Samsung.

  4. Does your software support SonyEricsson phones?

    No. Although some SonyEricsson phones use Symbian OS, but they are UIQ series not S60 series.

  5. I got error message "Certificate may not yet be valid, is expired or phone's date setting may be incorrect" when I try to install your software on my phone, why?

    Check the time settings on your phone. Make sure the time on your phone is correct. Pay attention to "year", some people only check month/day but forget year.

  6. I got error message "Incorrupted file" when I try to install your software on my phone, why?

    Usually it happens when you install software on a wrong phone model. For instance, you try to install software to a S60 2nd edition phone but the software is for S60 3rd edition.

  7. Can I try your software before I buy?

    Yes, of course. We provide trial version of our products. Trial version is available for free download on our web site. Trial version is for you to feel and try our product. If you are satisfied with the product functionality, just put order and get your license code. License code is used to unlock the limitation of trial version.

  8. What if I change the SIM of my phone?

    It's OK to change the SIM of your phone. Your license is bundled to phone IMEI but not SIM. Changing SIM does not affect software or license. You can continue to use our software with new SIM.

  9. What if I change my phone?

    Change phone means change IMEI. Since your license code is bundled to IMEI, you will not be able to use the same license code on your new phone. You need to buy a new license. For such case we can offer discount to your second order. Send email to us (support@wireless-labs.com) when you want to put second order.

  10. How do I put order?

    The best way is to put order online at the product's download page. You can pay through Paypal or ShareIt. Online pay is fast and safe.
    If you have problem to pay online, you can also pay through Western Union. But we need to change some handling fee. Send email to us (support@wireless-labs.com) if you want to take this option.

  15. What is IMEI and why I need to provide IMEI when I put order?

    The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15 digit code used to identify an individual mobile station to a GSM or UMTS network. The IMEI number provides an important function; it uniquely identifies a specific mobile phone being used on a mobile network. An IMEI is only used to identify the device and does not relate to a specific individual or organization.
    There are several ways in which you can locate your mobile phone's IMEI number. The IMEI can usually be found on the handset, beneath the battery, sometimes printed on a small white label. Another way to easily locate your IMEI phone is to dial the following sequence of numbers into the handset: *#06#.
    We need to know IMEI of your phone to generate your license code. The license code applies only to the phone with the IMEI you provided and can NOT be used on any other device.

SMS Anywhere
  1. Do I get charged when the software forward sms?

    The sms sent by SMS Anywhere is normal sms. It's charged by your operator as general sms.

  2. Can SMS Anyewhere work in my country?

    SMS Anywhere can be used world wide. As long as you can manually send sms on your phone, SMS Anywhere can.

  3. I got error message "Certificate error, contact provider" when I install trial version on my phone, why?

    Open your phone, go to App Mgr -> Options -> Settings -> Software installation, change its settings to "All".

  4. The trial version does not work on my phone, why?

    The trial version can NOT auto start. You need to start the software manually by clicking its icon. The icon is in "Apps" folder.

  5. The commands got displayed on target phone, why?

    Please check step by step as below.

    • If you just install a full version on your phone, you need to reboot your phone before sending commands. If you have trial version installed on your phone, you need to start the software manually.
    • Be sure you have sent correct command. A command must be in upper case and start with "SApassword".
    • Be sure you do not have any other software might be conflict with SMS Anywhere. For instance, sms logger, sms spam filter, etc.

  6. SMS Anywhere does not forward sms to my forward number, why?

    Please check step by step as below.

    • Be sure you have set up forward number. If you send command "D" with a wrong password, the command can not take effect and the forward number might be empty.
    • Check the format of forward number. The format should be exactly the same as what you input when you manually send sms.

  7. SMS Anywhere forward incoming sms but not outgoing sms, why?

    Please check step by step as below.

    • Send command "SApassword S1" to enable forward of outgoing sms.
    • Check settings of Messaging application on your phone, make sure "Save sent messages" is "Yes".
    • We recommend to turn off "delivery report" in Messaging settings.

  8. Shall I put "+" or area code when I set forward number?

    There is no rule you must or must not put "+" or area code. The format of forward number should be exactly the same as what you input when you manually send sms.

  9. The forward sms displays some question mark ("?") but not the original sms, why?
    You are forwarding sms with non-Latin characters (for instance: Chinese). You need to send command "SApassword E0" to use UCS2 encoding.

    There is no rule you must or must not put "+" or area code. The format of forward number should be exactly the same as what you input when you manually send sms.

  2. Why SMS Forwarder does not forward sms although I have set destination number?

    Please check step by step as below.

    • Check the format of destination number. The format should be exactly the same as what you input when you manually send sms.
    • Check the sms encoding your operator support. The default sms encoding is UCS2. If your operator does not support this encoding, set sms encoding to 7bit. (Some operators in Europe, India and American only support 7bit encoding.)

  1. Sms2Web always asks for Internet connection, cannot send email automatically, why?

    You need to set the email account to use an IAP (Internet Access Point) automatically. Please refer to below steps:
    Go to Messaging Application -> "Options" -> "Settings" -> "E-mail" -> "Mailboxes" -> "Your default account" -> "Connection settings" -> "Outgoing e-mail" -> "Access point in use", select your 3G/GPRS access point.
    Go to "Tools" -> "Settings" -> "Connections" -> "Internet" -> "Your access point name" -> "Use access point", set it to "Automatically".

  2. Sometimes the forward email stays in outbox, when it will be sent out?

    If an email failed to be sent out for some reason and stays in outbox, Sms2Web will try to send it again when a new forward email is generated. The previous email and new email will be sent together.

Message Mirror
  1. Why all my outgoing messages are not recorded in Message Mirror?

    To record outgoing messages, please go to Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Other -> Save sent messages, choose "Yes".

    The standard edition of Message Mirror can not be hidden. However we provide premium customize service which can help you to make it hidden.
